This fund would be put into good use. According to the Fund, a portion of the funds shall be expended in expanding their school campus’s capacity. In addition, they would expand the pediatric clinic, which has been built within the school. This way, they would be ready to increase the number of needy children joining the institution.

Malizole “Banks” Gwaxula and Jacob Lief are the founders of the successful Ubuntu Education Fund. When they founded it in 1999, they started by offering the needy children with educational tools. However, they realized that hunger and HIV was affecting the student’s concentration in class. It is for this reason that the Fund started offering healthcare services and nutrition to the students. To date, the institution has supported thousands of disadvantaged children across Africa.
